Why “Down to Earth”?

I believe that golf, like any physical skill, is learning through doing.  What we forget sometimes is the rule that whatever you are doing is what you are learning.  I have spent a lifetime understanding what makes a golf ball go from point A to point B, how people learn a physical skill, and how people play their best golf while having fun.  My job is to make it as simple as I can for you, to let you know what you need to do to achieve your goals.  I like to say that I teach people how to play their best in a practical way, not by overloading them with information.  People need to know what to do and how to do it, and I know how to communicate that.

You can understand all the theory, have all the technology, but at the end of the day you have to come “Down to Earth” and play the game.  If you want practical information on how to have fun on the golf course and play your best golf, you have come to the right place.

Besides teaching the game I have always been very involved in the business side of the golf and in “grow the game” initiatives.  I truly believe that golf instruction in general and great teachers in particular are crucial to golf continuing to flourish.  I would like to provide the know how and the resources to help people become better teachers and communicators.
